Life is like standing on a platform,
watching trains come and go,
and deciding one by one
whether to hop on.
I've watched so many trains leave
and wondered where it could've taken me.
I may have read the name of its destination,
but ultimately,
I never knew where I'd have ended up.
Over time one may learn
to see life as an endless supply of opportunities,
as it once was when we were kids,
before we learned to live through routine.
